Vmware View recompose fails operating system not found fixed

ok so true story.
im just updating my golden image because of an BMW update just normal stuff then i do a recompose set it to 21:00 and like every time works fine i just let it do its thing about 22:15 i go check and 50 desktops BOOOOOMMM the OS dosent start "operating system not found" and i do another snapshot and recompose the same thing happens,i rebooted the vmware view server and the vsphere server and did a recompose nothing the same exact thing by now im in 911 emergency all guns out googling and thinking im in a S#"##" load of problems... i did a clone of the template/golden image do a snapshot and another recompose the same thing happens no operating system found... its 01:00 im thinking im in a hole lot of trouble so i did what i always do i step back and get a cup of coffee and think persistant disk...
when you have a problem just step back go get a coffee i go to the vmware view persistent disk  and do a manual detach of 50 desktops and waited they all deleted just fine and i get to the detached tab selected all and there is a small button that says recreate desktops it started coping the replica and recreating the desktops and coping the user data and it worked and damend it work.
i think its the fotocopy effect the copy of a copy of a copy and 14 months of copy that template... and sometimes you have to think outside of the box and something with this mindset "what box"...

Do you want Exchange(fries) with that?

ok so im 100% virtualized now and i have a load of licenses because i have a S.A. Microsoft but something is not right...
why do we need windows server 2008 r2 if you only have Exchange?
If you activate fault tolarance(VMWARE) there goes 2 licenses one for windows one for exchange...
why do we need windows server 2008 if the only thing running is SQL???
we can virtualize 100 servers in to one we can send a man to the moon and send probes to map the microphages... but we cant decuple the OS from the things we want?
imagine this you have exchange running and the os fails your in a waste gate of a nuclear reactor(f"#"##")
imagine that if you could virtualize only exchange and not the OS... that is the future without a doubt...
just my 2 cents?
